Brian Townsend is a graduate of the duCret School of art where he latter became a faculty member.  He also attended the National Academy in New York City. Sharing his knowledge of oil painting the figure and still life, he has also been on the faculties of the New Jersey Center for the Visual Arts and the Somerset Art Association.

Mr. Townsend's twenty five years of experience in painting portraits has earned him national recognition as an exceptional fine artist. Over the past two decades Brian has skillfully created portraits and still life paintings that hang in countless privet corporate and museum collections. Most recently Brian has turned his attention to monumental works and he and his partner are quickly gaining the reputation as the preeminent mural painters in America.
